Our leadership development consultant explains the differences between an Introvert and Extrovert

As we grow and develop, our true personalities start to shine through during our teenage years. Our personalities are what really shape the person we are, how we interact with people and potentially the path we take. Which is why our leadership development consultant wants to explain the main differences between Introverts and Extroverts.

As a leadership coach, you need to be aware of the different types of people in the work force. Here are the main differences between Introverts and Extroverts:

• The key signs of an extrovert are:

o Recharge by being social
o Enjoy large group conversations
o Have more friends, but not so many strong relationships
o Speak more
o Are more open as a person
o Love getting attention
o Like to speak up in meetings

• The key signs of an introvert are:

o Recharge by spending time alone
o Enjoy one on one time
o Have fewer friends but closer relationships
o Quiet
o Are more reserved
o Won’t open up to people
o Will only share ideas if called upon

So as you can see, it is clear that there are drastic differences between introverts and extroverts. With each person being as equally individual, you need to be able to communicate effectively with everyone and our employee capability programs are perfect helping your staff develop into the best front they can be.

Feel free to get in contact with our leadership development consultant if you have any enquiries, or you can check out our offerings.
